Windows
This is a complete Windows installer with the main local components included. It is offered for public preview and user-group testing and is not pushed through automatic updates. The official Store release remains subject to Microsoft Store certification.

① After downloading, verify the published SHA256 checksum;
② Run DataOS-Setup-1.1.5.exe and follow the installer;
③ Local file, media and device tools run on the PC; accounts, cloud drives and clearly labeled online features require a network connection;
④ Keep independent backups and review confirmations before cleanup, write tests or overwrite operations.

This public preview installer is not yet trusted code-signed. Edge, Chrome or Windows SmartScreen may block it or show "Unknown publisher". It is not the final signed build and has not yet passed Microsoft Store certification. If you do not accept unsigned software, wait for the Store release. Before testing:
① Click the "⋯" on the right of the prompt → "Keep" → "Keep anyway";
② Or right-click the file in the download list → "Keep";
③ Verify the SHA256 checksum above (certutil -hashfile DataOS-Setup-1.1.5.exe SHA256) before running.
This page never asks you to disable antivirus or system-wide security protections, and it does not present the unsigned build as signed.
DataOS for Android
Works standalone on phones and tablets: sign up, manage phone files, search on-device, play local and private-cloud videos, back up photos and files. If you also have a Windows PC, you can optionally pair with it for extra horsepower (transcoding, AI, full-library indexing) — connecting a PC is an optional enhancement, not a requirement. Signature verified with apksigner (APK Signature Scheme v2).
Install guide: ① Download the APK with your browser; ② If prompted that installs from unknown sources are blocked, follow the prompt to allow installs for this browser only; ③ Return and finish installing. No need to disable your phone's global security protection.
DataOS for macOS
The macOS edition shares the same codebase and features as the Windows edition (local indexing, one-sentence search, duplicate cleanup, media diagnosis and repair, backup and restore — private files never leave your Mac). The official installer is completing Apple Developer ID signing and notarization, and the download is not yet available. Once ready, the installer, SHA256 checksum and install guide will appear here first. We never place placeholder buttons without a real download behind them.
DataOS for iOS
The iOS app is a standalone client just like the Android app (no PC required). App Store distribution is pending company ICP filing and the Apple Developer account; downloads will appear on this page as soon as it ships. We never ship placeholder buttons without real functionality.

- v1.1.5 (Windows public preview): Promotes high-frequency photo, cleanup, device/capacity verification and backup entry points; adds readable Chinese device reports with model, capacity, battery health and reference ranges; and improves local media, file management, backup/recovery and confirmations. Production cloud AI, payment settlement, two-device family validation and signed-update validation remain subject to actual in-app availability and later acceptance.
- v1.1.4 (Windows): Sign-up experience improvements — real-time check whether a phone number/email is already registered (instant "already registered, please sign in" hint instead of an error after submission); password fields now have an eye toggle to show/hide the password; sign-up requires entering the password twice with a match check, preventing typos that lock you out; edit-type features now guide unauthenticated users to sign up/sign in first.
- v1.1.3 (Windows): Fixed Chinese-character account names being rejected during registration (now supports 2-64 character names in Chinese/English); fixed verification-code delivery failures for phone/email sign-up (Tencent Cloud SMS/email channel fixes — if the email code doesn't arrive, please check your spam folder); added official Baidu Netdisk OAuth connection (after authorizing, you can search, browse, and download files in your Netdisk).

- Installer size optimized with full post-build self-checks (Core/Agent/renderer sandbox/secret audit); install and uninstall both passed real-environment acceptance.
Installation needs about 1 GB of disk space; first run guides you through adding data sources and building the local index. On uninstall you can keep or delete user data — your original media files are never deleted by uninstalling, under any circumstances.
